Louise Cummins ’23

Louise comes from Western North Carolina. They are going to get a degree from Bowdoin College with a major in Theater and Dance and a minor in English. Bowdoin production credits include The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Christopher) abridged and directed by Lou Sydel, The Harrowing Tribulations of Earl of Sandwich (Vernon) a Zoom production written by Dylan Sloan and directed by Gizem Dogan, The Wash//In the end, we all go to Providence (Hannah) written and directed by Julia Jennings, Hook, Line, and Sinker (Ondine) written by Delmar Small and directed by Davis Robinson, and coming soon in Spring of 2024, VALOR, OUTRAGE AND WOMAN (Leonor/Don Leonardo) written Ana Caro de Mallén and directed by Sylvia Cervantes Blush. They are also a leader of Bowdoin’s long form improv comedy troupe, “Office Hours Improv.” And they’re in the process of writing, producing, and directing Drag Monarchs: C’mon Out starring their drag persona: “Wricky Rongagain” pronouns hee/haw.

Henry Jodka ’24

Ever since I performed in The 39 Steps in high school, I have been fascinated with the play. From an Alfred Hitchcock movie originally made to be a conspiracy thriller to a farcical stage adaptation, I will be creating a podcast episode about the history of the play, my experience in performing and working on it, and the experience of the rest of the three cast members.

Andy Lopez ’24

Andy is a theatre major and government and legal studies minor from Manila, Philippines. His acting credits include Rhinoceros, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Our Town (Bowdoin) and The 39 Steps (Bowdoin). Currently, Andy is working on developing his first full length play that explores the performance of masculinity and its impact on relationships and self-expression. Outside the theatre, he enjoys playing basketball with friends, cooking, and spending time with his family. 

Dylan Richmond ’24

Dylan Richmond ‘24 is a senior Dance and English major currently working on his honors project inspired by Ntozake Shange's "choreopoem." His piece builds upon his time within the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship researching Black performance and the innovative ways minoritarian bodies express themselves. Dylan has brought his research to Yale, the University of London Queen Mary, and UCLA, and is beyond excited to finally synthesize his findings into a performance grounded in various theories during the Spring of 2024. Dylan calls home Madison, Connecticut, as well as anywhere there is the ocean, and enjoys poetry, mangoes, and petting large dogs. 

Sydney Starks ’24.5

Sydney Starks (’24.5) is from Greensboro, N.C. and is currently producing and hosting her first podcast: Yeah No, For Sure. Though she only started Theater at Bowdoin, she has a life’s worth of experience in being a dramatic storyteller. For the past two years, Sydney has immersed herself in the world of podcasts, listening to every genre there is (true crime, news, audiobooks, society, and culture, etc.). Podcasting is a medium with incredible power to take your mind on imaginative leaps, and Sydney has taken inspiration from beloved shows like Vibe With It and Daily Dose to transport listeners into her auditory living room. Her ambition lies in creating a cocoon of dynamizing vibes in the minds of her audience, for when people need a recess and an hour with Syd.
